Detected results

We wanted to share that a number of ”detected” results have been generated by the Avantect test for some study participants that have returned for follow up appointments as part of the SAFE-D study. All participants with “detected” results are referred for further MRI/CT scanning to find out if pancreatic cancer is present. While worrying for the participants involved, this is an encouraging step, as early detection plays a crucial role in improving patient outcomes and this is precisely what the SAFE-D study is aiming to do. It also highlights the value of consistent surveillance and emphasises just how important it is for participants to return for their T1 and T2 appointments.

Thank you so much for your continued participation
