I have been living with T2 diabetes for 20 years. When I heard the focus of this project I was very keen to find out more and become involved in the process.
Katrina Cathie
Katrina carries a high risk cancer gene and was treated for breast cancer in 2022 at the age of 42. She is passionate about improving screening and management of cancer, and using her experience as a patient to help research in this area.

Prof Hermione Price is a consultant Diabetologist at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Hampshire. Prof Price is a visiting Professor at the Health Sciences University and an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Southampton.
